The 2018 Runathon
What is it?
The Runathon is a day-long special event at MRES where students are encouraged to run as many laps as they can within an hour, with lots of support! This year's 8th Annual Runathon will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018. It’s a wonderful event and the funding fully supports the work of the PTA in helping our school! Money raised by the Runathon goes to support the Principal’s Fund, field trips, family engagement events, appreciation activities for teachers and staff, technology needs for the school, and other student and teacher needs. Plus, everyone has a great time!
When is my child running?
- Grades 4-5-6 9:35 a.m - 10:35 a.m.
- Grades 1-2 10:50 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
- Grades K,3 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
All funds raised by the Runathon are use to support the Marshall Road Community - students, teachers and staff. Be sure to include the name of your student and their grade so they can get credit. Thank you for supporting Marshall Road PTA!
Marshall Road Elementary School PTA is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. A tax receipt for your Runathon Donation is available here.
The official student kick-off was on October 26th (that’s when they’ll get their donation packet and info). Check out the 2018 Runathon video.
